Despite winning every game this season, Brian O'Driscoll believes the same issues could still cost Leinster against the biggest sides in Europe.
Brian O'Driscoll was speaking on BT Sport after their win against Racing 92. Leinster finished top of the Champions Cup standings, with bonus point wins in their four pool games, setting up a last 16 tie against Ulster.
Along with their unbeaten URC campaign, Leinster have looked unstoppable this season, as they chase a fifth European crown.
In previous years, they have been stopped by physically dominant opposition, such as Ronan O'Gara's La Rochelle, losing last season's final in they dying moments.
Leinster were also knocked out of the URC in the semi-finals to the Bulls, as they became unstuck once again against a side who targeted them at the ruck.
Brian O'Driscoll Warns Leinster Over Discipline
Speaking on the win over Racing, in which Leinster looked unconvincing in the first half, Brian O'Driscoll fears it could cost them once again on the European stage.
"They looked human." 👀@BrianODriscoll feels his former team Leinster will need to watch their discipline in the knockout stages.#HeinekenChampionsCup pic.twitter.com/G60CgA9I5A

I think the first three rounds they looked unbeatable. You just thought who is going to put it up to them.
Then, they looked human. Again, it's one of the big, powerful teams in Europe. I suppose if you are looking for some sort of achilles heel where they have come unstuck in the past, it's been against big opposition.
Saracens in the quarter-final a few years ago, La Rochelle in the last couple of years in semi-final and final, they found it tough against Toulouse as well. You've got to bring your power game, you have got to stop them at the collision zone.
You have got to slow their uck ball down, and this is an area that they will definitely have to work on, their defensive maul. Lask week, Gloucester, had some success there. They have had a bit of weakness there in the URC. They are going to have to keep their discipline crystal clear."
While Leinster's attacking rugby as been incredible this season, Brian O'Driscoll has brought up issues that Leinster will be all too familiar with, and will need to fix in order to win silverware.
