Gerry Thornley appeared on Newstalk for his usual Wednesday night rugby slot and had some words for former England hooker and Telegraph columnist, Brian Moore.
Thornley was responding to Moore calling the Irish media "tame" along with hysterical in their denouncement of any talk that the ERC should move away from Dublin.
The Irish Times writer hit back saying that if there was any tame media that it was in Moore's "own back garden".
You can listen to Thornley's response from the 10.40 mark below.
It didn't take long for Moore to hear word of this. He took to Twitter (tagging an account which has never been tweeted from) to call Thornley "a fool".
Understand @gerrythornley has said I only write what the RFU tells me to. I've never written anything anyone has told me to; man's a fool.

Will this lead to Thornley's first ever tweet? We can only hope.
