Munster have wrapped up the signing of Ireland international Billy Burns, who will join the province on a one-year contract in the summer.
The out-half is set to fill the void left by Joey Carbery, who will be leaving Munster this summer to join up with Top 14 side Bordeaux Bègles.
Burns will provide much-needed cover for Jack Crowley, with Munster having the likes of JJ Hanrahan and Ben Healy in recent seasons.
Burns has spent the last six seasons at Ulster after joining from Gloucester in 2018. He has racked up 107 appearances for the province, and has earned seven caps for Ireland since making his debut against Wales in 2020. The Gloucester-born number 10 qualifies for Ireland through his paternal grandfather, who was born in Dublin.
