Brive and Toulouse drew 21-21 in the Top 14 on Saturday.
It really should have been a win for a win for Toulouse though.
Down 21-16 in the closing moments, former All Black Luke McAlister crashed over the Brive line for a try to level the game.
It meant French international out-half Sebastien Bezy had a conversion - straight in front of the posts - to win the game.
What happened next showed the merit of players rushing out to block down the kicker. Brive replacement scrum-half Jean Baptiste Pejoine managed to get his hand to the ball prevent a successful conversion.
After some deliberations from the TMO, it was determined Pejoine and teammates had not moved before Bezy started his run up.
