A Barbarians team featuring five Irish internationals along with Munster's Brian Scott took on Tonga at Thomond Park on Friday night. In atrocious conditions, the Barbarians came out on top 27-24.
James Cronin, Quinn Roux and Jordi Murphy along with Scott all started the game. John Muldoon and Munster legend Donncha O'Callaghan both made appearances off the bench.
Before kick-off, the Baa-Baas replicated the tribute Ireland paid to Anthony Foley just over a year ago at Soldier Field in Chicago ahead of victory against the All Blacks.
The players formed a figure of eight on the pitch, a reference to the number Foley wore throughout his Munster and Ireland career.
During our ‘anthem’ World in Union we formed a number 8️⃣

Anthony Foley's sister Rosie thanked the Barbarians for the gesture.
