This Saturday marks the final day George Hook will park himself beside Tom McGurk for an Irish rugby match. He thought the World Cup might be his final bow but the impish TV3 boys intervened.
We're not sure whether there'll be some weepy montage assembled but Hook's growling lack of sentimentality in the past few weeks would make it look like a strange insert.
He told Pat Kenny today that he wont be watching the panel after he quits, and he might not even bother watching rugby.
One thing, without a shred of BS. I will never watch the panel, like honestly. And the way the game is going I don’t know if I’ll watch the game. It’s not an attractive game to watch now.
