Eye-brows across the rugby-loving nation have been raised in unison this morning at the news that Leinster has returned 4,000 of their 6,500 ticket allocation for Saturday's brouhaha with Munster in Thomand. The recession is being trotted out as the reason why no one from inside the Pale wants to travel to Limerick, but I'd like to posit an alternative explanation. Could it be that Leinster fans are now completely bored with the Munster rivalry, especially with the way the results have gone since that match at Croke Park? Munster fans may still humour themselves by co-opting Leinster player's Wikipedia pages, but maybe Leinster supporters - in their hubris - are simply disinterested by the prospect of watching Munster's 2011 vintage.
Just a theory.
