Ireland travel to Murrayfield Sunday for a Six Nations match against Scotland that could reasonably prove defining for Andy Farrell for this year's campaign. Win and Ireland will have some much needed momentum ahead of England's visit to Dublin next weekend. A loss on Sunday for Ireland will likely mean that Ireland finish fifth in this tournament, a feat not achieved since Declan Kidney's 2013's calamitous campaign. Ireland have dominated Scotland for years, but Gregor Townsend has revived Scotland's fortunes in 2021.
To that end, Farrell has largely stuck with the team that hockeyed Italy in Rome two weeks ago. Cian Healy and Rob Herring return to the front row while Keith Earls starts on the wing. The hugely impressive Ronan Kelleher, Jordan Larmour and Conor Murray were named to the bench, along with man mountain Ryan Baird.
