Andy Farrell and his Irish charges comfortably dispatched Scotland last night to seal their spot in the quarter-finals of the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.
The Irish utterly dominated what most thought would be a tight affair as they defeated Scotland 36-14 at the Stade de France in Paris.
The victory ensures that Ireland will face New Zealand at the same venue in the last eight next Saturday night, a mouthwatering tie where Farrell's men will be looking to become the first Irish team to make a semi-final at the Rugby World Cup in history.
Confidence is high in the camp at the moment having won all four of their pool games and impressing greatly, particularly against South Africa and Scotland, however Farrell believes that his side have not yet reached the limits of their potential.

Andy Farrell feels that his Irish side have more to give
"I don't think and neither do the team think we have played our best rugby yet," he said in his post-match press conference last night.
"We know where we want to go and what we want to achieve. Will we ever go there? I don't know.
"But it's days like next week that are coming where we need to find out a bit more about ourselves and these lads are more than willing to do that."
"For little old Ireland to be talked about in the same bracket as the All Blacks shows how far we have come..."

The head coach also said that his side were relishing the challenge of taking on the All Blacks who have played some excellent rugby in the tournament so far.
"This is exactly where you want to be and these boys have been waiting for opportunities and big games to show what they have learned for a while now," he said.
"It doesn't get any bigger than next week and we will relish that."
Ireland will be hoping to have a full contingent available to them for the massive game but after last night will nervously be waiting on injury updates from Tadhg Furlong, Mack Hansen, James Lowe and James Ryan.
