You know those two beautiful Irish rugby narratives - BOD being named Lions captain as a final hurrah Down Under to avenge the ghosts of '05 or Paulie being named Lions captain after miraculously overcoming chronic injury - it turns out they were just lies we told ourselves, at least if the bookies are to be believed. Sam Warburton is now looking like a slam dunk as Gatland's captain.
