Ian Foster has made four changes to the All Blacks team to face Ireland in the third test this Saturday from the one which lost to Andy Farrell's side in Dunedin last weekend.
Nepo Laulala comes into the front row at tighthead prop in place of Ofa Tu’ungafasi. Sam Whitelock returns to the second row with Dalton Papalii dropping out of the team, and Scott Barrett switching to the back row where he played in the first test. It will be 61st All Blacks test which Whitelock and Brodie Retallick have started together.
In the backs, David Havili has recovered from a bout of Covid-19 and comes in at centre in place of Quinn Tupaea while winger Will Jordan has been promoted from the replacements in place of Leicester Fainga’anuku.
On the bench, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is set to make his All Blacks debut.
"It’s tough having a loss but the tough weeks are often the most exciting," said All Blacks head coach Foster.
"A series decider against a high-quality side is a great occasion for our growth as a team."
