While giving his opinion the idea of Ian Madigan going to Munster on Newstalk's 'Off The Ball' on Saturday night, Brian O'Driscoll was discussing the aspect of money playing a big part of a player's decision making, and criticised Adam Ashley-Cooper's decision to join Top 14 side Bordeaux.
Australian utility back Ashley-Cooper has yet to make his debut for his new French team, but O'Driscoll questioned his motives for making the move in the first place, and word quickly reached the former Waratahs player.
Ashley-Cooper then directly tweeted O'Driscoll to let him know that he didn't agree with the Irish rugby legend's opinion:
Hi @BrianODriscoll. Regarding the below... I disagree. Strongly. pic.twitter.com/mUq9YY2uzv
— Adam Ashley-Cooper (@AdamCoopy) December 20, 2015
To which BOD replied:
@AdamCoopy that quote is incorrect. It should have said 'pension' instead of 'a bit of money'... And there's no shame in that!

Of course nobody will know Ashley-Cooper's true intentions apart from himself, but many of the replies to both of those tweets indicate that the only error made here was Brian's omission of Bordeaux excellent wines as a factor in the Aussie's decision.
We'll see if there's any more on this, although rugby twitter beefs are few and far between these days.
