There's a small crisis developing in rugby over the last few years regarding the frequency of injuries in the game. In fact it's becoming a bit of an epidemic.
Nowadays it's a rarity if someone manages to go a whole season without picking up an ailment of some sort, nevermind multiple seasons. Then of course, there's the curious case of Jamie Heaslip; half man, half machine.
Heaslip has gone off with a shoulder injury in the first half of Leinster's Pro 12 match with Ulster this afternoon. It's the first time he's been forced off with an injury in over four years...
