A Joe Molloy interview with Ian Madigan and Peter Stringer airs at 9.30pm on Setanta Ireland and in the build-up, they released a couple of tasty teasers of what to expect.
Joe asked Madigan about that missed kick at the end of the Scotland game which thankfully didn't end up being the difference between Ireland winning and losing the Six Nations. However, the Irish out half was of course worried that it could back to bite him, despite reassuring words from Jonny Sexton.
Madigan told Molloy:
Myself and Jonny Sexton had an embrace after the game. You know, as he said, he missed a kick that was kind of uncharacteristic.
He put his arm around me in the changing room and said 'Look, it's based over a tournament and it's not just one kick.'
The Leinster player goes on to say the kick still 'hang with' him today, saying 'Just because we won the tournament, I won't park missing the kick.'
Meanwhile Peter Stringer reflected on throwing the pass to ROG for the Grand Slam winning drop goal against Wales in 2009.
