Sometimes in sport you just have to accept that it isn't your day. However, nobody should ever have to endure what Belgian rugby team Soignies were subjected to this weekend. They were hammered 356-3 by Royal Kituro in Belgium's top division.

Kituro managed to score 56 tries and 38 conversions, averaging more than four points a minute. Despite being beaten by such a margin, Soignies can take comfort from the fact that they still remain ahead of their opponents in the table by one point, the fact that they have a points difference of -264 is less than ideal though.
The understandable excuse that Soignies gave was that the referee turned up late for the game and by the time he arrived some of Soignies' player's had upped and left. Nonetheless they still took to the field with a full compliment of 15 rather than forfeit the match.
