South African World Cup winner, and Toulon's Champions Cup winner Bakkies Botha will be captaining for the Baa-baas tomorrow against Samoa in a World Cup warm up for the Pacific Islanders.
The ex-Springbok is looking forward to watching the tournament, and has picked his best XV from players at the tournament, and there are three Irish players included, as the only Northern Hemisphere representatives included.
Predictably there are five fellow South Africans, whilst his new Toulon team mate Paul O'Connell is also included. Botha decides to plug Healy into an unfamiliar tighthead prop role to accomodate Argentine Marcos Ayerza, while his choice of No. 8 is a little surprising where Jamie Heaslip makes it ahead of Kieran Read, Sergio Parisse, Duane Vermuelen, and Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe. It's positive for Heaslip and Irish rugby that his abilities are being recognised outside of Ireland.
3. Cian Healy - strong scrummager and good in the loose
5. Paul O'Connell - great leaders and bring something special to a team
8. Jamie Heaslip - Strong ball carrier and definitely a leader
