People who combine being a professional athlete with academics never seem to take the easy option. Look at Munster's Jack O'Donoghue, for example. Along with playing professional rugby he is also studying Pharmaceutical and Industrial Chemistry at UL.
In a video for Munster Rugby, the number eight explains what a typical day is like for him. It usually involves a few hours of gym work followed by lectures or library time. O'Donoghue says that the tougher days tend to be the long squad sessions when he could be down in Cork at CIT.
I'm going to guess that he's not spending his weekends binge watching Daredevil on Netflix.
