Leinster and Bath's Champions Cup quarter-final tie on Saturday was finely poised in the closing moments. The Irish side led 18-15 though the English Premiership team had possession within in the opposition 22. With the clock in the red, referee Jerome Garces awarded Leinster a penalty. It was a controversial decision with Bath coach Mike Ford being adamant a penalty should have been given to his team.
On BT Sport's Rugby Tonight, Brian O'Driscoll and Lawrence Dallaglio explained why they thought it was the correct decision, though only marginally. Bath's Matt Garvey infringed just moments before Leinster's Richadt Strauss leading them to believe the French official was right.
