Mils Muliaina Arrested
When things go wrong, they go very wrong. Dumped out of Europe after a lethargic opening half of rugby that allowed Gloucester to go 14-0 up, Connacht's night just got even worse.
There were pictures shown at the end of Sky Sport's broadcast of that game that showed their All Black import Mils Muliaina being taken into a police car.
A statement from Gloucester Police read:
'A man in his 30s was arrested at Kingsholm Stadium tonight (Friday, April 3) on suspicion of an alleged sexual assault in relation to an incident in Cardiff in March. It is a matter being dealt with by South Wales Police.'
Connacht would have travelled to the Welsh capital to play the Cardiff Blues in early March.
Muliaina wouldn't have been in the UK since that period and therefore the arrest couldn't have been made until now.
What the??? "@AndyHo_oper: WTF: "We believe Mils Muliaina has been arrested" #GLOSvCONN https://t.co/kvqTT5n5Du"
