La Rochelle's Levani Botia was the guilty party here as he lifted, twisted and drove Bordeaux-Begles Pierre Bernard into the ground head first. If Bernard didn't have the presence of mind to stick his hand out to guide his fall then it could have been a very serious injury.
It nearly cost La Rochelle the game, as in the five minutes that was remaining in the game, they conceded a converted try to only win by a point 22-21.
