In early January, Neil Francis made a comment about Warren Gatland in one of his columns and no one reacted to it. Two weeks ago, the Welsh noticed it. I'm sure you've seen it by now.
The number of articles, the reaction and the photos that came from this one previously unnoticed comment was quite something, as you can see. Not only was there the pre-tournament comment, but also the post-game retort from Wales, the contrite apology from Francis, and finally the post-tournament retort from Ireland.

And now, it seems that Francis has gone back in to antagonise the Welsh again.
In his latest column in the Irish Independent, Francis takes a break from swiping at the English defensive system and George Ford to make another comment on the Welsh.
In the aftermath of the weekend that say Wales miss out on the championship on points difference, Warren Gatland proclaimed that Wales are set up to win the World Cup this year in England. Needless to say, Francis fails to agree, in fact he isn't sure how Gatland can make that claim. He acknowledges that Wales are a dangerous side, but doesn't fancy them to get out of their group that also features Australia, England, and Fiji.
Wazza after falling short in third position - in true classic Wazza fashion - declares that Wales can win the World Cup. On what foundation stone does he make this statement?
Wales are a dangerous side and will cause trouble for Australia and England in their pool but they are third favourites to get out of that group.
Does anyone else get that foreboding feeling that we'll be hearing about this prediction for the next few months?
