The NRL is barely a week into it's 2015 season and already there is a contender for the worst tackle of the season. It's perhaps not as bad as the Northern Hemisphere equivalent, but we wouldn't want to be on the end of it. Like the Super League tackle, this one didn't warrant a card either.
In the West Tigers v Gold Coast Titans opening game of the season, Mitchell Moses cuts William Zillman of the Titans apart like the Red Sea. Zillman is now being monitored for concussion following the game.
It got worse from there for the Titans, as a last gasp field goal from the Tigers ensured a 19-18 win that piled pressure on the Gold Coast Titans after they were rocked by the cocaine scandal that also implicated Queensland Reds new cross code star Karmichael Hunt.
