There's something strange going on.
For the third time in less than six months, Stephen Jones has had something positive to say about the Irish team. After reviewing his stance on Ireland's Paul O'Connell, before tipping us to win the Six Nations; Jones has now created a mid-tournament best XV of the Six Nations that has a distinctly Irish look to it.
Even the most vocal critics of the Irish team wouldn't deny Johnny Sexton and Conor Murray a place in the team, and Jones hasn't - giving them the full rights to marshalling this fantasy team around the park with their accuracy. Just as deservedly, Six Nations newbie Robbie Henshaw makes the side in his current but still slightly unfamiliar role of inside centre.
Perhaps a little more surprisingly - although still deserved - is the inclusion of Simon Zebo and Mike Ross. Ireland have the most representatives in the team with five, while Wales have four. Bizarrely England only have one - Jack Nowell whose only game so far was the loss to Ireland; whilst Italy have three players included.
