TV3 World Cup Line-Up
TV3 have announced an impressive line-up of pundits that will cover the Rugby World Cup. Every single one of the 48 games of the World Cup will be shown free to air on TV3 across September and October. With UTV Ireland replacing ITV on UPC, TV3 will be the only channel in Ireland that will show the games.
The cast of pundits includes current Sky Sports pundit Stuart Barnes, Munster legend Peter Stringer, Irish legend Keith Wood and retiring Leinster hero Shane Jennings. They will be joined by former Leinster head coach Matt Williams, former Irish international Hugo MacNeill and English World Cup winning flanker Neil Back.
Matt Cooper and Sinead Kissane will be joined on the presentation team by former Munster and Ireland star Liam Toland, Conor McNamara from the BBC and the 42's Murray Kinsella. TV3 have also announced that the TV3 HD channel will be launched in time for the event.
The World Cup kicks off with hosts England playing Fiji on the 18th of September, and culminates with the final on the 31st of October.
It'll be interesting to see the reception between Neil Back and Peter Stringer after this:
