Remember when Ireland lost to Wales and babies were being thrown out with bathwater all over the place? Neither do we really. Anyway, it happened and the Western Mail in Cardiff published this, admittedly, rather humorous front page the following day in response to Neil Francis' tub of Flora jibe at Warren Gatland.
Things were looking down last Monday. Fast forward a week and after the most incredible day of rugby in many a living memory, we're on top of the world once more. And, it seems, that Welsh front page just couldn't be forgotten at a time like this.
The Irish Independent took some time out of their day yesterday to have some puntastic fun at the expense of the Welsh with their own mock-up of a front page.
This front page should make you smile as Irish media have the last laugh http://t.co/JFfZoitK60 @WalesOnline pic.twitter.com/O4Lsalkhel

Truth be told, we prefer the London Metro's attempt at a headline yesterday but nonetheless, the Independent seemed quite pleased with themselves, even directing the tweet at Wales Online (the online arm of the Western Mail). All in good fun of course.
However, as would happen if the shoe was on the other foot, some Welsh fans didn't really see the funny side of things.
@IndoRugby @simonrug this kind of proves they hate the fact we beat them and ruined their grandslam. Still only have 2

@IndoRugby @robkitson @WalesOnline Gloating isn't a great look. In reality, the difference between Ire, Wal & Eng was tiny in the end. — Dan Wright (@dan_weasel) March 23, 2015
@Rubbish_No3 @crossy33 @rugbyPhilBB @IndoRugby @simonrug @WalesOnline It's "as long as we beat the English" mentality bad.

We thought we'd leave this one till the end because it is particularly amusing. Did anyone else know that we as a nation are painted with a no teeth stereotype?
.@IndoRugby @simonrug @WalesOnline we still took your grand slam. Plus we have roads and teeth — Crossy (@crossy33) March 23, 2015
