Following a disappointing season in the Rugby Champions Cup, Munster are badly in need of fresh faces for next season.
Anthony Foley's side have been linked with two internationals in the Irish Independent today.
The first is as a possible replacement for Mike Sherry, around whom there have been murmurings of retirement due to injury. The player who could come into replace him is Argentinian hooker Agustin Creevy. The 36-cap international is currently with Worcester Warriors who lead English rugby's second tier after relegation last season. The 29-year-old has previously played in the Top 14.
Creevy is known as a mobile hooker and even has his own YouTube compilation of Sonny Bill-style offloads.
Munster's second target would fill an even more pressing need at centre. After missing out on Australian international Rob Horne, despite offering a lucrative contract, they now set their sights on All Black Francis Saili.
Saili, who turns 24 next week, is currently with Super Rugby's Auckland Blues and has been capped twice by New Zealand. He is what would be termed a second five eight, a play making centre. Creativity is certainly something which Munster are in desperate need of following the loss of JJ Hanrahan to Northampton.
