Ireland's Six Nations campaign hadn't even started at this stage, but George Hook took very little time to slate Ian Keatley's ability as an outhalf.
Hook is up to his old tricks, being the pessimist in Ireland as the hype is building for the Six Nations champions and the highest rated team in the Northern Hemisphere. Hook has thrown doubts over Keatley's stature, calling him an average club player.
He further goes on throwing doubts on his kicking (facts), his defensive capabilities (an observation) and he is an average club fly half (an opinion). What do you think?
As if that wasn't enough, Keatley's performance after 25 minutes of the first half did little to change Hook's opinion.
Ireland very disappointing - no control at Number 10. Italy still hanging in as Ireland show no sign of scoring a try
