When is the Irish Rugby World Cup squad named?
The 33-man squad was revealed at 16:30 on August 27, with Cian Healy the biggest absentee after sustaining an injury in the final warm-up game against Samoa.

The other headline news sees both Ronan Kelleher and Dan Sheehan declared fit and named in the squad. Both hookers had been nursing injuries, with Sheehan forced off in the warm-up game against England.
Elsewhere, Stuart McCloskey has done enough to hold on to his place in the squad, while Keith Earls has just edged into the squad ahead of Jacob Stockdale, after weeks of speculation on who would make the cut.
How many games will Ireland play before the 2023 Rugby World Cup?
The Irish rugby team have been preparing this summer with three warm-up games ahead the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Ireland won its first 33-17 warm-up game vs Italy on Saturday 5th August. They then beat England with ease 29-10 last Saturday.
Andy Farrell's Ireland took on Samoa in their final warm-up game for the World Cup on Saturday 26th August against Samoa in Bayonne.
Though it wasn't the prettiest affair, Ireland survived to take a nervy 17-13 win. They now have two weeks in which to prepare for the beginning of the Rugby World Cup.
Ireland will line out for their first match of the Rugby World Cup on September 9th against Romania in Bordeaux.
