Leinster's Jamie Heaslip has come out in defense of rugby after Paul Kimmage's comments about PED's in the Sport. Heaslip was critical of Kimmage's comments on twitter, and reiterated his point at the Leinster press conference today.
Speaking after Paul Kimmage appeared on Matt Cooper's Last Word radio show calling for an open debate on the topic, Heaslip was quizzed about a variety of topics, ranging from his reaction to Kimmage's article, and his own drug testing experiences.
I’ve lost count how many times I have been tested, blood, urine, they do it all. Many times they have called to the house, they call here (to Leinster).
Heaslip went on to clarify his criticism of Kimmage, explaining that he didn't appreciate the broad nature of his accusation.
