Nevin Spence tragically died in a farming accident along with his brother and father on September 15th, 2012.
He was a rising star in the Ulster Rugby squad. When their father got into difficulty in a slurry tank, Nevin and his brother Graham attempted to rescue him but they too succumbed to the fumes.
Ulster played Munster on Friday night at Thomond Park, losing by just a point. Rory Best tweeted a picture of the away dressing featuring a nice touch from Munster, a plaque commemorating Nevin Spence.
