Fergus McFadden was on The Last Word on Today FM on Thursday evening for a chat with Matt Cooper. The two discussed McFadden's recent injury woes and also Ireland's win over Sout Africa.
Cooper asked the Leinster and Ireland player:
What did you make of the performance against South Africa? Because it's very interesting the it was being held up after the game as one of the great Irish performances but the word coming from the Irish squad now is a certain degree of dissatisfaction with it. That it actually wasn't as good as some people built it up to be.
The back's response really encapsulated what Joe Schmidt is like as a coach.
You win the Euromillions and Joe is still going to be saying, 'yeah well you could've got the plus numbers aswell'. There's always some to improve on with Joe and that's the great thing about him I think.
You can listen to the full interview below with the line coming from around the 7:10 mark.
