With E3 currently taking place in the Los Angeles Convention Center, gamers everywhere are eagerly anticipating the rush of new game announcements, trailers, and special surprises that inevitably emerge from the event every single year.
Here at Balls.ie we are dying to get a first look at the likes of FIFA 16, Madden 16, NHL 16... Basically all the 16's and 2016's and 2K16's, just give us them all.
But before we get down to the individual games, Microsoft have made two big announcements that owners of the Xbox One will be delighted to hear.
Firstly, there is a brand new "precision controller" coming out soon, which featured paddles on the back, an all new D-Pad, and loads of other cool looking features. Feast your eyes:
And secondly, Microsoft have confirmed the implementation of backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 games, that means you'll be able to play all your Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One, which is fantastic news for those of us who have been dying to have a bash on games such as PES 6, 2010 FIFA World Cup, 2008 Beijing Olympics, Fight Night Champion... We could go on and on.
It's a big step for Microsoft who are beginning to turn things around after a disastrous media campaign in the run up to the launch of the Xbox One.
