On 28th April 1990, Liverpool beat QPR at Anfield. At the same time, Aston Villa drew with Norwich City at Villa Park. It meant that Liverpool were champions of England for the 18th time. A year on from Hillsborough and the disappointment of their final day defeat to Arsenal, it was as sweet as it gets for the dominant team in English football.
It meant 13 titles in 26 years for Liverpool, and it was surely never going to end.
Well 30 years later, and they haven't done it since. 2020 looked like the year, and then the season stopped. Who knows what will happen there. As of now though, the team which clinched the title exactly 30 years ago are the last Liverpool starting XI to do so.
How well do you remember that game? QPR actually took the lead, before Liverpool turned things around and secured their third title in five years under Kenny Dalglish.
We've included the two substitutes used on the day. We're looking for all 13 players and we've given you four minutes. We would expect Liverpool fans to get them all despite the couple of notable absentees.
Good luck and let us know how you get on via our social channels.
