After finishing 10 points behind the Champions League places and 43 off champions Liverpool, Arsenal will be looking for a bit more fight and bite throughout their side this season.
However, ahead of their season opener against Fulham, the cameras noticed two of their own players having a bit of a flare-up as a small skirmish between their midfielder Dani Ceballos and striker Eddie Nketiah kicked-off.
After going through some rondo drills, you can see the Spaniard trying to retrieve the ball and in doing so, he almost leaves a bit on Nketiah after going in with the studs showing in a stamping motion.
After quickly pulling his leg out of the challenge, Nketiah isn't very impressed with the former Real Madrid man and grabs his arm back. Ceballos then responds by pushing the striker away before protesting his innocence.
Moments later, Ceballos goes to close down Nketiah when he receives possession but the England u-21 international deliberately kicks the ball against Ceballos in frustration.
The pair then had to be separated by a member of Arsenal's coaching staff.
Speaking about the incident, BT Sports pundit Rio Ferdinand said: "Sometimes it gets heated. You'd see that probably once or twice a week in the training ground, we just happen to be here to see that. I'm sure Arteta wouldn't be too disappointed to see that."
Arsenal didn't linger on the incident for too long because Alexandre Lacazette has given the Gunners the lead at Craven Cottage.
