Liverpool welcome Manchester City to Anfield today for another classic, in what has been undoubtedly the fiercest Premier League rivalry of the last five years.
As is befitting of the occasion, Sky Sports have none other than Roy Keane, Micah Richards and Daniel Sturridge in the punditry box, with Keano and Richards already delivering one hilarious interaction that saw Keane trying to calm down a rattled Micah, who had rode off into the sunset on a rant about Man City's finances and rise from the lower leagues.
While it was Michah's rant today, it was Liverpool's Trent Alexander Arnold who stoked the fires this week claiming Liverpool's trophies 'mean more to us and our fanbase because of the situation at both clubs, financially'.
Despite treble-winning Erling Haland biting back at the comments, former Manchester City star Micah Richards considered it his job to launch a passionate defence of his former club in the Sky Sports studio, rubbishing claims that Man City's titles are solely a by-product of intense investment.

Roy Keane's hilarious Micah Richards intervention
Speaking ahead of the clash today Micah Richards launched an unwavering defence of his former club, lauding their 'GREAT MANAGER AND GREAT PLAYERS'.
With Micah getting visibly worked up, the job of calming him back down fell to none other than Keane, who was quick to intervene waving Micah back down to earth, chirping in 'Micah please, long day ahead'.
"Yes they've spent a lot of money but they've got a GREAT manager, GREAT players. They've won the treble!" 😤

In Micah Richard's defence, he did praise Trent Alexander's sense of personality, right before he jumped to the defence of Man City and their rise from the lower leagues.
To be honest I loved it, how many times do you see people talk about 'they've got no personality, they're just like robots'
Obviously I don't agree with that (Trent's opinion), but that is his opinion there's nothing wrong with his opinion.
People always go on like Man City was just created in 2008 when they got the investment, but Man City was getting 20, 30 thousand in the lower leagues, they come from good stock, now they're starting to win something everyone wants to lump in. Yeah they've spent a lot of money but they've got a great manager, great players, they've won the treble, they've won the league multiple times.
While it's all fun and games now, there's plenty to play for this evening with the top spot in the Premier League up for grabs.
Should either team do enough to win at Anfield today, three points would see them propel themselves past Arsenal into that top spot.
