The saga surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Manchester United remains, and after Monday night's victory over Liverpool, Erik Ten Hag may not see the Portuguese star in his strongest line up anymore. Despite Ronaldo's brief chat with former United captain Roy Keane on Monday Night Football, Paul Ince has said that Keane "would have never put up with" the Portuguese's behaviour.
With the five-time Ballon d'Or winner not reporting to Manchester United training during pre season, rumours of Ronaldo being unhappy at the club circulated. As of now, there hasn't been much interest from any of Europe's elite in signing the United legend.

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince has been speaking about Cristiano Ronaldo's behaviour and has said that if he had done that during his time at the club, the players wouldn't have stood for it.
Paul Ince on how Roy Keane would have dealt with Ronaldo
Speaking to Boylesports Premier League via the Daily Star, Paul Ince has slammed Ronaldo and has said that Roy Keane wouldn't have put up with it if he was at the club n0w.
Paul Ince said:
Roy Keane and I would have never put up with Cristiano Ronaldo’s antics,
Cristiano Ronaldo has to leave Man United. If he was in the Man United dressing room when I was playing with the likes of Roy Keane and Steve Bruce, we wouldn’t be putting up with him and he wouldn’t be getting away with anything.
Ince has also said that Lionel Messi would never have acted in the same way that Cristiano Ronaldo was if it was him at the club.
Leaving Ronaldo out of the starting 11 was so important because it shows people that there can be life without Ronaldo. He’s been a distraction for everyone at Man United. He hasn’t had the desired effect that everyone thought he would and you wouldn’t see Lionel Messi acting the way he has at times.
Paul Ince is currently managing Championship outfit Reading who have enjoyed a good start to the new season. His side are sitting in third place after three wins from their opening five fixtures.
