"You saw three teams coming up, Fulham, Nottingham Forest, and Bournemouth," Klopp continued. "Nottingham they spend, Fulham is doing some stuff and I can’t remember Bournemouth if Bournemouth did a lot. That is difficult if you come up from the Championship and arrive in the Premier League. That's not easy for a coach.
“So I felt for Scott. It is not that I think his team is not good enough; not at all. The first four games give you Arsenal, City and Liverpool. That's like a setup for a new manager if you have nervous owners, 'lets see what you can do.'
"Scott is an outstanding manager and then you get four games like this and the owner says: ‘See you later?’ That is really harsh.”
Bournemouth and Liverpool are both in action tomorrow, with Bournemouth playing Wolves in their first game without Parker, and Liverpool hosting Newcastle.
