The FA have opened an investigation into alleged comments made by Jordan Henderson to Gabriel during the side's clash at the weekend.
Arsenal maintained their spot at the summit of the Premier League table after a 3-2 win over Liverpool at the Emirates, but it was an incident during stoppage time which has now become under investigation from the FA.
Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka strikes either side of Darwin Nunez's goal gave the Gunners a 2-1 lead at the break, before Liverpool equalised through Roberto Firmino early in the second half.

With just under a quarter of an hour remaining, Bukayo Saka's spot kick sealed the win for Arsenal, but the game has now been overshadowed by these alleged comments from Henderson.

Referee Michael Oliver intervened and spoke to both Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta on the touchline.
It's now being reported that the FA are investigating the incident.

Gabriel has been reportedly questioned by the FA into the comments made during the clash. The FA disciplinary chiefs spoke to Michael Oliver after the game before deciding what steps to make next.
Sky Sports sources say that FA are 'tight-lipped' about this investigation but also say a lip-reader could be used in this investigation.

Late on Sunday night, an FA spokesperson released this statement.
We are aware of an incident that took place during the match between Arsenal and Liverpool. We are in dialogue with the match officials and will review the details of the incident.
The Mirror are reporting that both players have presented their side of the story already to Michael Oliver before the referee reported back to the FA.
