Nottingham Forest secured their first Premier League victory since 1999, with a 1-0 win at home to West Ham United. Taiwo Awoniyi bagged the only goal of the game, when he tapped in from close range after 46 minutes.
The star of the show however, was goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who had a number of good stops during the match, including the save of a Declan Rice penalty.
The England international is currently on loan from Manchester United, and has been vocal about his displeasure of sitting of sitting on the bench for Man United last season.
"To sit there for 12 months, it is criminal really, at my age. I was fuming. I told the hierarchy that I need to be playing football and to let me go, and I was almost gone before the manager (Erik ten Hag) came through the door. I have not spoken to him since."
West Ham came very close to taking the lead in the 46th minute when Tomas Soucek headed a rebound towards goal, but Dean Henderson showed his skills with a fine reaction save to deny the midfielder.
West Hame were then awarded a penalty mid-way through the second half, but once again Henderson stepped up, as he read the mind of Declan Rice and guessed the right way.

Given the difficult season Dean Henderson was forced to endure last year, and a poor showing from David De Gea in Man United's 4-0 defeat to Brentford yesterday, the result and performance will have been extra sweet.
Nottingham Forest now have one victory and one loss from their first two games, while West Ham are languishing near the bottom of the table with two defeats.
