It's been a whirlwind summer transfer window for Premier League clubs with some surprising and out of the blue moves already this year. With Transfer Deadline Day edging closer, we have picked out some of the most random and bizarre transfer rumours that have been circulating today.
Most random transfer rumours
Martin Dubravka - Newcastle United to Manchester United
Perhaps the most certain transfer on the list is Dubravka to Manchester United. The Slovakian goalkeeper joined Newcastle in 2018 and was an ever present in the side when fit. This season, with the signing of Nick Pope, Dubravka has dropped down the pecking order.

Manuel Akanji - Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City
Just in case Manchester City didn't already have enough centre backs, The Athletic are reporting that Pep Guardiola's side are close to agreeing a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Swiss centre back Manuel Akanji.
Akanji is out of contract next summer, hence why City look set to sign the 27-year-old for a cut price of around £17.5 million.
Wilfried Zaha - Crystal Palace to Chelsea
Zaha has been constantly linked with a move away from Selhurst Park most seasons, but the Daily Mail are reporting that Chelsea are preparing a £40 million bid for the Ivory Coast international.
Zaha seems to be lined up as a potential target should the Blues fail to agree a deal with Barcelona for former Arsenal skipper Pieree Emerick Aubameyang. This is certainly a transfer rumour to keep an eye on.

Daniel James - Leeds United to Spurs
One of the more random transfer rumours today is that Spurs are interested in Dan James. James spent a couple of seasons with Manchester United before leaving for Leeds last summer, but the Welshman hasn't lived up to the potential he showed in his early days.
Trusted transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has said that Antonio Conte is interested in bringing the Welsh international to the club on a loan with an option to buy deal. Everton had also been rumoured to be interested in the former Man United wideman.

Transfer Rumours: More random potential moves
Tiemoue Bakayoko - Chelsea to Newcastle United
It's safe to say Bakayoko's spell at Chelsea hasn't worked out and yes, bizarrely, he's still a Chelsea player. After an impressive season with Monaco, Chelsea signed the defensive midfielder for around £40 million. Bakayoko has since been on a two-year loan deal with AC Milan , but Italian outlet Calcio Mercato are reporting that the French man could be set to join Newcastle before deadline day.

Willian - Free Agent to Fulham
Former Chelsea and Arsenal winger Willian looks set to make a return to the Premier League, with Marco Silva eager to bring the Brazilian to Craven Cottage. After leaving Arsenal last year after an underwhelming stint to say the least, Willian joined Brazilian side Corinthians but had his contract terminated this Summer.
The Guardian are reporting that Willian is due to have a medical at Fulham today and will sign a one-year-deal at the recently promoted side. this transfer news is certain to excite Fulham supporters.
Sergino Dest - Barcelona to Manchester United
In other transfer news, The Metro are reporting that Manchester United and Barcelona are in talks over a potential swap deal between Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Sergino Dest. The USA right back joined Barca back in 2020, but hasn't featured in any of their games so far this season. Erik Ten Hag is keen to bring the player who he managed during his time at Ajax, to Old Trafford.
N'Golo Kante - Chelsea to PSG
Kante's current Chelsea contract runs out next summer and Football London are reporting that PSG could make a late swoop to take the former PFA Player of the Year to the French capital. It's not the first time that PSG have been linked with the French midfielder who snubbed them in favour of a new contract at Chelsea in 2018.
There has been transfer news and speculation around Kante's future over the past year or so and could we be about to lose the nicest man in football to Ligue 1?
Sander Berge - Sheffield United to Liverpool
With Jurgen Klopp publically saying that his side are trying to find a midfielder before Thursday's deadline, the Daily Mail are reporting that Sander Berge could join Liverpool. The Norweigan international joined the Blades from Genk back in 2020 in a deal worth around £22 million.
The Yorkshire Post have said that Berge has a £35 million release clause.
There's certainly some truth behind some of these transfer rumours, but whether there'll be enough time for clubs to complete these signings is yet to be seen.
