Here we see the crew of the LÉ SAMUEL BECKETT engaged in a maritime interdiction operation off the Irish coast. The naval crew are acting on intelligence received, and their ship has dispatched a Naval Boarding Team (NBT) to board the vessel. Once the VOI has been boarded, the naval team contain the crew of the vessel and conduct a search of the ship. When contraband was found, the crew of the vessel was detained by the naval crew.
