Kimi Raikkonen qualified in pole position for the Monaco Grand Prix with a new record lap for the circuit in Saturday's qualifying.
The Finn set a time of 1:12.178 on the notoriously treacherous circuit to secure his first pole position in nine years ahead of his Ferrari teammate Sebastian Vettel in second.
Footage has emerged from Raikkonen's on board camera and it makes for a fascinating watch as you get an understanding as to just how close he is to crashing in almost every second of the lap through the winding city streets.
Lewis Hamilton qualified in 14th, and that presents Sebastian Vettel with a chance to increase his lead over the Englishman in the driver standings.
But Raikkonen was the talk of twitter after his blistering qualification lap, and most couldn't get over how long it has been since he started on pole.
Here's how #F1's current crop of youngsters looked the last time Kimi Raikkonen bagged pole.
