Ireland claims its second and third bronze medals of the European Rowing Championships on Sunday with third place finishes in the men's double sculls and the women's four.
Fintan McCarthy won bronze in the lightweight men's single sculls earlier in the morning.
Daire Lynch and Ronan Byrne claimed their medals in the men's double sculls by finishing behind winners the Netherlands and second placed Switzerland.
"This is huge," said Byrne.
"We’re a new crew, and we did well at Irish trials. We won at U23s, and to know at even a step up at the senior level we can podium is huge."
Shortly after - in the women's four - the Irish crew of Aifric Keogh, Eimear Lambe, Aileen Crowley and Christina Johansen finished behind Italy in second and winners the Netherlands.
"This is our first a-final as a crew, our first big event as a crew," said Keogh.
"We knew there were some big names in this event. We had some steering difficulties off the start, but we managed to get it back together."
