Fallon Sherrock has been the star of the World Darts Championship over its opening fortnight at Alexandra Palace.
She became the first woman to win a match at the tournament when she defeated Ted Evetts 3-2 in an opening round match on December 17th.
The 25-year-old followed up that victory with another superb performance against Mensur Suljovic. She defeated the number 11 seed 3-1.
This was a bit of fun but I mean what I said.
I'm really grateful for all the support I've been getting and can't wait to be back at Ally Pally.
Merry Xmas all. https://t.co/I19bHbTqrN— Fallon Sherrock (@Fsherrock) December 25, 2019
In the third round, Sherrock will face the number 22 seed Chris Dobey.
When is Fallon Sherrock's next match?
Sherrock plays Englishman Chris Dobey on Friday, December 27th. It is scheduled as the third match in the afternoon session. The afternoon schedule gets underway at 12:30pm. Expect Sherrock's match to be on at approximately 3.15pm.
Dobey previously beat Ron Meulenkamp 3-2 in the second round to set up the encounter with Sherrock.
Where to watch Fallon Sherrock vs Chris Dobey?
The match will be live on Sky Sports Darts. Coverage gets underway at 12:30pm.
Asked by Sky Sports following her victory over Suljovic if she could win the tournament, Sherrock responded:
"Why not? I won two games. I'm just going to take each game as it comes. There's nothing to say I can't. Look what's happening. I'm going to try.
"I have just proved that we (women) can beat anyone. I have beaten two of the best players in the world. If that doesn't show that women can play darts, I don't know what does."
