Irish parents and their nerves... It's something we've all had to deal with be it on the day of a big match, or a big exam...
A massive congratulations to Irish Paralympian Ellen Keane who won a bronze medal in the SB 100m breaststoke final on Wednesday night as she put in a fantastic final race with a time of 1:23.07.
Keane was absolutely delighted in the pool as she finished behind two good friends of hers, and she gave a wonderfully Irish and extremely classy interview to RTÉ after the race.
After expressing her delight for the girls who finished ahead of her, Keane told of a nightmare family whatsapp story that involved her father making her nerves far worse as she was about to perform.

Family whatsapp groups must be stopped!
Usually it's the Irish mammys who get the nerves, but this time it was her Dad driving her up the wall as she was trying to get into the zone.
Thankfully Ellen managed to regroup and win a medal, and wasn't her Dad only delighted?
