A massive congratulations to Annalise Murphy who just secured Ireland's second medal of the 2016 Olympic games.
Murphy finished her Laser Radial Medal Race in fifth position after knowing that would be enough for a medal going into the race. It was a fantastic performance in what has been a fantastic Olympics for Annalise, and she will now return to Ireland with a silver medal draped around her neck.

Murphy secured Ireland's first sailing medal in 36 years, and she spoke to RTÉ in the immediate aftermath to give her thoughts on her excellent achievement. After finishing fourth in London, the medal meant so much to here and it made for great viewing.
