Ireland's Sara Treacy ran in the third heat of the 3,000-metre steeplechase in Rio this afternoon, and was doing very well before been shoved to the ground as runners became bunched.
She was racing well at the time, and was set to beat her personal best before disaster struck. This is the best clip of the incident we could find:

Nonetheless, she picked herself up and raced on, ultimately finishing 12th, clocking 9:46.24. Upon the end of the race, she appealed the decision. The appeal has been upheld, and now Treacy has been added to Monday's final.

The fall occurred when Ethiopia's Etenesh Diro took a tumble. She appealed and, like Treacy, will compete in Monday's final.
