We had to split the women's four up. Every other "joint" medal was won from the same county. Bob Tisdall was born in Ceylon but raised in Nenagh, so he's a Tipp Man. Darren Sutherland was born in Dublin and later on split time between Dublin and Meath. Cian O'Connor was also born in Dublin but as he's spent nearly all his life in Meath, he represents them. Here's to many more!
(Note - We have only included medal winners for Ireland, so those Irish folk who have won medals for the United States, Britain, Canada and Australia aren't included)
