Kellie Harrington has cemented her legacy after becoming the first ever Irish boxer to win consecutive Olympic gold medals and her local community in Dublin 1 has been celebrating accordingly.
The Pride of Portland Row put on an absolute clinic to break new ground for Irish boxing in Paris on Tuesday night, emphatically beating China's Yang Wenlu to win gold in the 60kg class.
Mass crowds had descended on Diamond Park in Dublin's North-Inner City to watch Harrington do what none of her predecessors had done before and successfully defend a gold medal in Olympic boxing.

She was on top of her game as she won a dominant opening round before keeping her rival at bay in the following two rounds to ensure a dominant win.
Harrington cut a jubilant figure after the win, dancing in the ring with coach Zaur Antia at the famous Roland Garros venue in the French capital.

The jubilation in Paris and at Diamond Park was matched outside Harrington's home on Portland Row in Dublin, where her parents Yvonne and Christy had been watching.
Footage from FM104's Luke Delaney on Twitter captured the emotional scenes in the aftermath of Harrington's win, with both of her parents filmed in song as they basked in the glory of their daughter's stunning achievement.

Extraordinary.
Grace is Harrington's anthem, of course. She sang it on the Late Late Show on St Patrick's Day a few years back.
We look forward to hearing her sing it again on Portland Row when she has her second homecoming in a few days time.
