You work your entire life to get to qualify for the Olympics and then you finally get there and.... there's nothing to do.
That's the quandry that befell Japanese gymnast Kohei Uchimura when he arrived that the Olympic Village. The Japanese is the favourite to win a gold medal in Rio but maybe have had to pawn any medal he won as soon as he returned home, after deciding to quell his boredom by playing the new game 'Pokemon Go' - and ran up a $5,000 bill in the process.
His Olympic teammate Kenzo Shirai described Uchimura's reaction upon receiving his bill, saying the the gymnast "looked dead" at the team dinner later that evening.

Luckily for Uchimura and his bank account, he was able to explain himself to his data provider who have agreed to write off the massive bill and move him to a flat $30 a day rate while he's in Rio.
He may not have found Snorlax but at least his love of Pokemon Go didn't place Uchimura into abject poverty, so he's got that going for him.
